Good Afternoon

Does anybody know if you can get a taxi from the port in Caen to Bayeux ??

I do not drive and will be travelling over by ferry.

Thanks

you should check with your travel agency but most of the ferry companies tell about an arrival at Caen, but in fact you land to Ouistreham! few kilometers away from Caen. There%26#39;s no train lines between these 2 towns. You%26#39;ll have to get a taxi.

Ouistreham is about 15 km from Caen. There is shuttle service from the ferry port to the bus station in Caen, next to the train station. There are also usually taxis waiting when the ferry docks. Trains from Caen to Bayeux run on an irregular schedule but roughly one per hour. The trip from Caen takes about 15-20 minutes. There is also bus service from Caen to Bayeux.

It has to be close to 50km from Ouistreham to Bayeux and the quickest route would take you through Caen. A taxi all the way would be expensive and IMO unnecessary.
