Public transport

Is it possible to use public transport to venture out to the villages along the coast, Grasse etc? Also, as I will be without a car, advice on where to stay that allows walking access to where I will be able to get buses and trains. Thanks.

The principal villages of Grasse, St Paul, Vence Haut de Cagnes, Eze, Roquebrun etc are all connected to Nice by the TAM bus service, or the Lignes d%26#39;Azur local bus network. Just about anywhere is reachable conveniently by bus - these start mostly from the Gare Routiere, which is central Nice, fare one euro thirty cents.. The coastal towns can be reached more quickly by train, which runs through from Cannes to Italy stopping service.

To reach the bus or train stations conveniently you need to be located somewhere within fifteen minutes walk - which is moreorless everything.
