Thanksgiving lunch in Paris?

Really long shot here…

I%26#39;m in Paris for work this week. I have Thursday off and really want to find somewhere which might be serving thanksgiving lunch. I am assuming that there is a bigish US expat community there and so there might be a restaurant that offers this.

Can anyone help? I%26#39;d be really grateful…

Your best bet would be to contact the American grocery and restaurant in the Marais. It is called Thanksgiving and they may have a special menu this Thursday. The Real Mc Coy is another AMerican grocery and they may also have something planned.

If you have a relative/friend or whatever studying at the AUP (american university of paris) then you can go there, from what I know they organize a big thanksgiving dinner.

I asked the same question last year, and got some great replies:

Here%26#39;s some copies:

Breakfast in America

17, Rue des Ecoles, 5th arr.

Joe Allen

30, Rue Pierre-Lescot, 1st arr.

Thanksgiving

14, Rue Charles V, 4th arr.

Arizona,

14, Rue de l%26#39;Arrivée, 14th arr.

Coffee Parisien

4, Rue Princesse, 6th arr.

Definitely check the Park Hyatt at Vendome or Hyatt Regency near Boulelvard Haussman. They may be a bit pricey, but they always do a quality job on holiday events.

Seems like Joe Allen was the favorite. If you search %26quot;Joe Allen%26quot; in this forum, you%26#39;ll get further details.

For the record, I ended up going to a regular restaurant.

Several years ago we had an excellent Thanksgiving dinner at Le Violon d%26#39;Ingrès, with turkey as an option for the main course. Christian Constant%26#39;s menu was appropriately festive.
