Louvre experts

Hello

I am going to Paris for 6 hours - will I have time to go to the Louvre?

I am worried about the queues and I have left it too late to pre order tickets

Is it viable to get a good tour in one hour?I know I wont do it justice - really would like to see the mona lisa in the flesh.

Hi,

will you have 6 hours net or does it include time travelling to/from airport/station?

When are going to Paris (date + time)?

In winter, it is not so difficult to get into Louvre, because there aren%26#39;t so many tourists ...

If you are only interested in the Mona Lisa, you probably will be disappionted, the painting ist quite small. but there are many other beuatiful things to see. Get a map at the entrance, there are shown some interesting pieces of art on the map...

You can visit Louvre gor 1 or 2 hours but they are not enough. Plus you have to check if there are a lot of people who will wait for ticket.

As you have only 6 hours at Paris I suggest you to make a quick tour. What I mean: Champs-Elysse, Tour Eiffel, Arc de Triomphe, Opera, Quartier Latin etc. The highlights. Metro will help you a lot.

On the other hand if you really want to see Louvre, make a try and if it%26#39;s too crowded you can leave.

Happy journey!!!!

Take the metro to the Louvre. When you buy your metro ticket, ask for a Billet Louvre. Get out at the Palais Royale, Louvre metro station.

Exit above ground and go to the %26quot;Passage Richelieu%26quot; in the Galerie Carrousel, which is the priority entrance. There are NO lines there, ever, but you must have a ticket to use this entrance.

From there... no problem. You won%26#39;t scratch the surface, but you will have time to get a general idea.
