Has anyone eaten here and if so is it any good? I have heard reports that the view of the Eiffel Tower is very good, you cooments and views would be greatly appreciated

I like it, not the cheapest nor the best food in Paris (ok still) but nice scenery and the atmosphere is warm, the waiters are a little snobbish though.

the food is good, like kasthor said the staff quite snobish and slow, dont ask too much! also we found a black long hair in one salad, a big thick one which the waitress should have seen (but she was quite slow and didnt understand anything so..).

My friends and I ate there this past summer for one of the gal%26#39;s birthdays. Of course, being summer, we sat on the terrace and, yes, the view of the Eiffel is fabulous! We all thought the food was wondeful! and the desserts were spectacular. We were not in any hurry and didn%26#39;t notice any slow/bad service or attitude. In fact, one of our party accidentally dropped a diamond earring onto the slatted wood floor of the terrace into a bed of gravel and water just below and our waiter Charley spent AT LEAST 30-40 minutes on his knees in between taking care of his customers trying to locate the earring and then getting a hanger and trying to fish it out. Fortunately, he was successful and the earring was returned to a very teary-eyed happy woman! My group and I would dine there again in a heartbeat!

Got to add to this...And it did not happen in Paris....
My Husband and I were attending an outdoor party at a Friends house. They had just got a new puppy and one of the kids handed him to me to cuddle and pet. He was licking my ear and we were all getting a kick out of it when suddenly my diamond earring come out when he nibbled my ear. My husband was having a cow, he scowled at me %26quot;do you know what that cost me%26quot;? I was frantic. A bunch of us were down on our knee%26#39;s looking everywhere in the grass. About 20 minutes later another friend came in the yard and asked us what were we looking for? I told her a diamond earring. She walks past me and bends down and picks up the earring and hands it to Me. Whew, I was sweating there for a minute. I thought others were right when they said the dog swallowed it. But I felt it roll down my neck and off my collar. I owed her many thanks and couldn%26#39;t stop thanking her that day.

My friend and I ate there at the beginning of November. We did not have a positive dining experience there. We had better food at other restaurants. The staff was snobbish. We chose this restaurant for the view of the Eiffel Tower but could not see it from where we were seated .
