Hotel For Family of 5 in Central Paris

Please advise which Major Hotel Chain (and which location names within the chain) has rooms that accomodate 5 people. I%26#39;m looking for the chains because of their toll-free numbers and because you can normally cancel on 24 hrs notice. I am not looking for apartments - nor am I interested in getting 2 rooms.

Thanks very much for your feedback and advise.

For example, Hilton, Best Western, Choice, etc? etc?

Hi loveja

You will find it very hard to find a single room that accommodates 5 in a Paris hotel but if you consider an aparthotel like Citadines you might be able to find something.

Try the Hilton Hotel chain. I think they have family-style rooms.

Does anyone know WHICH hotel(s) within the hotel chains have the rooms to accomodate 5.

I don%26#39;t think you will get a single room that accomodates 5 people. You can, however, get %26#39;family%26#39; rooms or %26#39;connecting%26#39; rooms where your children are accessible to you.

Contact Best Western and discuss with them - they are a huge marketing chain in Paris (and Europe) and have nice properties (traditional buildings, not %26#39;cookie cutter%26#39;). They market over a hundered hotels in Paris alone.

It will be difficult to try booking these over the internet, in my opinion.

Try Best Western. They are the biggest in the world and have tons of Paris addresses.

And while you are not interesed in apartment, you may want to try the Citadines Apartment Hotel chain. Apartments that are run like a hotel with room cleaning, front desk services, et al, but you could get more space for your group.

Again it%26#39;s probably best for your situation to either rent an apartment or stay in an apartment/hotel like the Citadines as suggested by Faux. Hotels, no matter if they are part of any well-regarded chain, will not accomodate you all in one room.

|||

As mentioned above, you do not have to have all 5 in one room - a family room or connecting room is actually 2 rooms but you are still together, not separated by locked doors or a hallway.

I don%26#39;t think the Citadines apartments can handle 5 either - I believe the larges they have is a one-bedroom (double or twin) with a sofabed. Maybe if the youngest is very small, a cot would be offered.

My brother recently went with a 4 kids (for a total of 6) and ended up renting out at La Defense to find a somewhat reasonably priced room(s) that would fit them all. It was 2 adjoining rooms with a door between, and had a tiny kitchenette (enough for very minor breakfasting making). They said the area was quiet and right next to the Metro so they just hopped on every morning and zipped to the Center. I know it was a major chain, but don%26#39;t know which.

We are personally avid apartment-renters.

La Defense seems far from the central Paris.

Any hotels - part of chains - in the centre area.
