Has anyone done the Da Vinci Code tour with Classic Walks (sister company of Fat Tire Bike Companies)?
website is @ classicwalksparis.com/tour/walking-tours/da-…
Does fee for the tour include admisson to the Louvre and the other sights? If anyone can give a short synopsis of the tour that would be great i.e.
10am- Met Tour Guide @ ?
10:15am Went to Saint Sulpice
etc.
Thanks!

Hey
Ive visted the sights but I never took a tour. I would recommend you to e-mail the tour comapny and ask the same questions as here, Im sure they will give you the most accurate information.
Enjoy Paris!

For what it%26#39;s worth, we just took their Montmartre walking tour from Classic Walks and it was every bit as good as the Paris Walks tour of Montmartre which we took about 5 years ago.
I%26#39;d take it. It%26#39;s not a lot of money and if it doesn%26#39;t work out then leave early (tell the guide though so that he/she doesn%26#39;t have a heart attack upon relaizing that some of the group is missing.) But I found that when they work, walking tours can be one of the highlights of any European city visit.

From the tour description--
%26quot;...Begin at the famous Hotel Ritz where the novel opens with Robert Langdon fast asleep. Walk through the Jardin des Tuileries and enjoy the beautiful gardens as we enlighten you to a few of the author’s liberties taken in the writing of this book.
***We will enter the Carrousel du Louvre, where Silas murdered the museum curator Jacques Saunier, to see the inverted pyramid believed to house the Holy Grail itself before crossing the Pont des Arts on our way to the gallery district of the Left Bank***
This walk will take us to the Church of St-Germain-des-Pres before closing the tour at our final destination, St. Sulpice (may be closed on Sunday for Mass). View the infamous Rose Line and take a look inside this dramatic church as you follow the Rose Line to the towering obelisk where Silas mistakenly believed the Holy Grail rested....%26quot;.
Entry to the Carousel du Louvre (a public space) is free and there is NO mention of actually enterring the Musée du Louvre itself to view the galleries and DaVinci pictures detailed in the novel.

We did the Classic Walks Da Vinci Code Tour last September, and their Marais Tour only 2 weeks ago during our most recent Paris trip. We had a great experience with this company on both occasions.
Last Sept the fee for the Da Vinci Code Tour included entrance to the Louvre Museum, but I suggest you check up-to-date info with the company to find out if this is still the case. We had to use our free tickets to go back into the Louvre on our own after the tour (not as part of the tour itinerary) but the guide gave us a handout with a map to help us find all the art works and locations mentioned in the book.
During the tour itself we were taken to see the outside of the Louvre and Pyramide Inversee in the Carousel area, which is free for anyone to access as another poster mentioned. The tour is great for seeing with your own eyes some things which are true and untrue in the novel.

Incidently.... Musée du Louvre has bowed to the popularity of the novel and decided to %26#39;..cash-in..%26#39; on it a bit and now offers its own self-guided %26#39;..DaVinci Code..%26#39; theme-tour of the museum---

Can a SILAS gift shop at Saint Sulpice be far behind?

%26quot;Can a SILAS gift shop at Saint Sulpice be far behind?%26quot;
lol @ KDKSail
Thank you for all of your help so far. I think we are going to give it a try. I will e-mail the %26quot;Classic Walks%26quot; people before I leave to check on the total price and whether it includes admission to the Louvre.
Now we just have to decide if we want to try the segway tour or bicycle tour.
Thanks again!
