This will be my first trip to paris, and I need some info on how to get from paris gare du nord station to the best western premier eiffel park hotel: 17 bis rue amelie 75007. I am planning on buying the paris visite pass when i get there, but will zones 1-3 cover the trip to the hotel? Also, which zone is paris bercy station located? Will the zone1-3 paris visite pass cover my trip from the hotel to bercy?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi
If you arrive with airplane in CDG airport it would be smarter to hop on the AirFrance coach/bus directly from the airport. It goes to Arc de Triomphe - and then you can take a taxi from there down to your hotel. Taxi would not be more than 10-12 euro, I guess.

From Gare du Nord it is not really easy, as it would involve at least 1 change of train, unless you are already on the RER B from the airport ?? If so, I would hop off on St.Michel and take a taxi from there to your hotel.
It all depends of how much baggage you will be dragging along. Trust me, big suitcases go very bad with the turnstiles of the metro - the first time it takes some kicking the suitcase and cursing and sweating over how to insert the ticket and so on.
AirFrance bus + taxi would be my advice.

A pass covering zone 1-3 is valid for the whole city. You also can go to La Defense with that ticket.
A metro-map (with zones) can be found under www.ratp.fr
Next Metro to your hotel: Mêtro La Tour-Maubourg
Bus Lines 49,69,80,82,87 and 92.

Maybe our friend yaya is arriving from London or Brussels, hence the Gare du Nord departing point. In which case, don%26#39;t sweat it, just take a cab to the 7th (€12-15). Otherwise, as Gitte said, you can take the métro, line 4, change at Strasbourg St Denis to line 8, getting off at Latour-Maubourg.

It%26#39;s not very hard to get around uning the metro but it can get very crowded. So if you have a big bag, it can be difficult and irritating to you and the crowd around you. But moving from one station to another is a piece of cake as long as you understand maps with colored lines and circles.
Taking a cab wouldn;t be too difficult or too expensive. My estimate would probably be about 20€ maximum, but i can be wrong on that too. Depends on which way he goes and the traffic too. Being that it%26#39;s your first time there, he may try to take you the long way?
I recommend getting the Week Metro pass for about 15€. You can come and go in the metro stations for a week and also includes the buses too. worth it cuz you won%26#39;t have to deal with individual passes every time you go into a metro.
good luck and have fun.

There really are no direct connections (Metro or bus changes en route) between Gare du Nord and rue Amelie (btwn. rue St. Dominique %26amp; rue de Grenelle). The closest you get is via #42 bus route (heading in the direction of Hôpital Européen Georges Pompidou) at its stop at the Left Bank end of Pont d%26#39;Alma at quai Branly....and then a several block walk to the hotel.
I%26#39;m a huge fan of using the efficiencies of the city%26#39;s public transportation system...but not so much buses and Metro when rolling luggage. This may be a time when discretion is the better part of valour, and taking a Taxi Parisian from the regular taxi rank at Gare du Nord, across town to your hotel. Taxi fare should run appprox. 10-12 €.
A transportation pass valid for Zones 1-3 will cover ALL public trnasportation within the city of Paris and out to the near suburbs.. Paris Bercy station will be well within this coverage.
Having selected the PARIS VISITE pass, one assumes that you%26#39;ve considered the several other transporation pass or ticket options available and decided it is best for your particular requirements ??
