Hi Randy,
I just returned from Paris, and while there, I had an idea for a very unique book (well, I think so anyway). I%26#39;d love to get your advice and you may even be interested in being involved.
Please email at your convenience at vickisfloyd@hotmail.com.
Hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Hi Vicki,
Just picked up your post.
Am in the middle of producing photography
wedding albums for my last 5 wedding
clients (they all want it by Christmas even
though the weddings were in October and and
November and they just now turned in their orders)
plus 4 portrait sessions.
SO, I will send my email address to you
and let me know your thoughts on a book.
Had a wonderful Thanksgiving , hope you
you did too.
Randy

Well of course they want their wedding photos...like yesterday! My husband does weddings sometimes (he hates it because he%26#39;s terrified he%26#39;s going to mess something up and it%26#39;s not like you can do it over again!)
Yikes....I just noticed I went over 2200 posts!!!!! Must be TA addiction.
Just email me when you have a few minutes because I don%26#39;t really want to go into the details of the book on the forum. Although if it turns out the way I envision it, everyone who is a Paris lover and or visitor will want one. (And no...it%26#39;s not a guide book!)
Good luck with the wedding photos. Better you than us. I always help Bruce, my husband, arrange the photos because I%26#39;m (among other things a wedding coordinator) and I typically know what the bride wants. I also have my brides make up a very detailed list of exactly what photos they want so that we%26#39;re not sitting in the church going, %26quot;Hmm...what should we do next? Aunt Sally?%26quot; It%26#39;s not as if you would even know who the extended family would be. I gotta say it again...better you than me.
Hope to hear from you soon....now see if you can sleep off all that turkey. As you can see, it%26#39;s 4:22am on the East Coast and I%26#39;m still up. The trip I just returned from has my sleeping patterns all mixed up. It%26#39;ll get better. I also brought back one heck of a black eye, but you can read about that in %26quot;Vicki%26#39;s Trip Follow Up%26quot;. The date posted was November 22. You%26#39;ll get a kick out of it if you have time to read it. It%26#39;s a bit of a novella!
Plus I can%26#39;t sleep because my daughter just informed us that she and her husband are going to present us with our first grandchild!!!!
I%26#39;m on cloud TEN! Or eleven or something. I think I%26#39;m too young to be a grandma (42) but my daughter is 24 and she%26#39;s been married for 3 years so they%26#39;re ready and so am I!!!!!!!
Please give my regards to your wife...and let her know that we may have a book that will make us wealthy!
Take care,
Vicki

Randy Im very impressed by your pictures, specially your feeling for light, I take good pictures of people, but I suck at light... Do you have any suggestions for easy photgraphed (can you say so in english?) places in Paris this time a year and where its easy for a amature like me to get good light?

Congratulations Vicki!!! If my math is correct, you became a mother at a very young age.
|||
Vicki, lucky you!!! What a thrill that must be. And won%26#39;t she/he be lucky to have such a young hip grandmother??? Congratulations!
|||
PS young, hip and wealthy, too, once you and Randy write your book!
|||
Yes...I was a young mother! I%26#39;m really happy about that now because as some of you have said, I%26#39;ll be a young and hip grandmother. I mean, really, I could even have another one myself (Oh please God, no!).
Please don%26#39;t get the idea the Randy and I are doing a book together. I am just asking for some advice from him and again, it will not be a travel book, but it will have Paris all over it. We%26#39;ll see. If it happens, you%26#39;re all going to want one!

Shoesy - I still want to come to Israel!!!! And thanks for the congratulations on MY baby. I was just just about 20 and my daughter just turned 24 a few weeks ago. So I%26#39;ll be able to run and play and sit on the floor and swing and well....I could go on and on. I told my daughter (who lives about 6 hours away) that when she comes home from the hospital she can have the baby for two days and then I%26#39;m snatching her. (I%26#39;m convinced it%26#39;s a girl). And I fully expect my daughter to meet me halfway and give me that baby...often! They hope to move to Jacksonville within 3 or 4 years. That is WAY too long. Maybe I%26#39;ll just bring the baby to Israel with me...of course we%26#39;d have to stay a few weeks! But we%26#39;ll wait until she%26#39;s 2 or 3.
I know this is the wrong forum to talk about babies or Israel, but I just spoke with someone yesterday who said she was really afraid to go to Israel. Do you think there%26#39;s any reason for that? I%26#39;d love for my precious grandchild to walk in the same places that Christ walked. Okay...I%26#39;m off topic. Gonna get kicked off. Please forgive me, the rest of you. Just can%26#39;t quit talking about this baby!!!!

I meant I was a few days from 20 when my daughter was born. I read over that post and it struck me funny that it appeared I said that I was 20 and my daughter was 24. Now that would be a neat trick!

Vicki - Israel%26#39;s fine to visit. I%26#39;ll see you here in a few years then. Maybe before that in Paris. But remember............you%26#39;re much younger.
