Happy Thanksgiving !!!!!!!!!!!!!

To all of your who celebrate it, whether in the U.S., Paris or anywhere else, I wish you a happy holiday. We don%26#39;t celebrate Thanksgiving here, but I always think about all the families that do.

Enjoy your day with your loved ones.

gobble gobble. :-)

Hey, phread...........have you swallowed an entire turkey?

|||

Thanks Shoesy! I%26#39;ll be eating my turkey with all the fixin%26#39;s a little later today, and be thankful for all my wonderful Paris memories...even those I have yet to make.

No turkey for me... SO is out of town so I didn%26#39;t bother pre-ordering from the only butcher I have found with a rotisserie big enough for a turkey (my oven is too small to fit one). I am not complaining, just sharing a bit of the expat life...

I was going to drag the kids to korean bbq, but they are revolting... I keep trying to tell %26#39;em that they%26#39;ve got their holidays mixed up and revolutions are for Bastille Day, but it looks like steak fritse at the Entrecote... boo hoo.

Welcome back, ArrowCapet!!!

|||

Now that%26#39;s something I wouldn%26#39;t mind eating now, phread.

Thanks Shoesy,

We are going to friends this year along with 20 year old granddaughter. So it will be an easy year for us with no cooking multiple menus. Son has to work Friday and driving for this holiday is a mess so they are eating their vegan meal at home. Daughter who is allergic to all poultry will be at in-laws.

Now we just have to figure the menus for Christmas eve and day so that all can eat, enjoy and not be upset!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I roasted a 12 lb turkey last night and also baked a pumpkin pie. I just put a 6.5 lb prime rib in the oven to roast. So the picky eaters will have a choice of turkey or prime rib. Family should be arriving soon! It would sure help if I was not waking up at 4 am though... takes me about two weeks to adjust after coming west.

I hope you%26#39;re having a good day, Shoesy!

FAUX: If you are reading this, I answered your message, did you get my reply?

Hi Mascara, Yes, thank you so much. I very much agree. I have been very busy at work because a number of big things have come up together this week and I have hardly looked at TA - just basic %26quot;housekeeping%26quot;, so to speak. I hope you and Shoesy and everyone else who celebrates Thanksgiving have had a wonderful day and look forward to further news.
