4 night stay in Ile st louis

Based on the reviews and comments I%26#39;ve narrowed my search for our Paris summer vacation to Ile St louis, the only problem I%26#39;m having, is most places have a minimum 1 week (7 nights) stay and I%26#39;m only looking for 4 nights, we want an apartment not a hotel, Any sugggestions???

Hi. I don%26#39;t know if this particular apartment is available by the night instead of the week, but my husband and I just stayed there for a week in late October and it was fabulous! The owners were extremely accommodating and were happy to let us rent Tuesday - Tuesday so perhaps they%26#39;ll let you stay for less than a week. It%26#39;s worth a shot! We, too, love the Ile St Louis and always stay there. This was our first time in an apartment and we adored it! Go to www.vrbo.com and type in #51644 to take a look at it and to get the owners%26#39; contact information. If I can answer any questions regarding the apartment I%26#39;ll be glad to. (Don%26#39;t know how many people there are in your party but this apartment has a great king sized bed for 2 as well as a sofa bed in the living area for 2 more).

It does look wonderful, Thanks, I%26#39;ve sent them an email to find out for sure about a 4 night stay, I%26#39;ve got my fingers crossed. A question for you, Is the add%26#39;l queen bed mentioned a sofa bed?? There are 4 of us, my children are 4 and 6 I guess they can sleep on the sofa bed together. Ideally, two separate beds would be the best scenario to prevent the bickering and playing at bedtime, but for only 4 nights we should be ok.

Hi. Yes, the additional bed is indeed a sofa bed. However, there are 2 nice sized sofas in the living area and since your children are so small, I%26#39;d bet that one could have the sofa bed and the other could just sleep directly on the other sofa. They were extremely comfortable to sit on so I think they could also work as a bed. The sofas are in an %26quot;L%26quot; shape with a shared glass top coffee table. That would be the only potential problem I could see with the sleeping arrangement. Perhaps you could move the coffee table away from the sofas when you set things up as a %26quot;bedroom%26quot;. As I said earlier, the owners are so lovely and friendly that I feel sure they would do whatever they could to make it work for you.

Oh, one other thing...if either of your children needs to nap in the middle of the day, there is a pre-school just across the street and the children spend a great deal of time on the playground. Therefore, there is a fair amount of laughter and noise during the daylight hours. This wasn%26#39;t a problem for us as we were gone all day every day and when we were there for a brief break or pit stop, the sounds didn%26#39;t bother us. Plus you can shut the windows and most of the noise goes away. Just thought I%26#39;d mention that. Good luck!
