best hotel (near the bars) in Paris

Hi All,

Me and a few friends are making a one night stop in Paris this Saturday. Can anyone make any suggestions about the best hotel, which is near the main bars in Paris, trendy, and affordable.

Hi! THere is no one main area in Paris with the bars. If you want trendy and affordable you should avoid the Champs Elysees area (where trendy = very expensive) and look at the 5th or 6th arrondissements. I suspect you would be happy wiht what you find there. In that case you should try to stay somewhere between metro monge and metro saint germain de pres. You will find a lot of interesting bars for average parisien prices.

But you can find interesting bars everywhere in Paris. I guess you can also say that everybody has there own definition of trendy...where is sahota -- sound like indonesia or something?
