1. No idea what the hotel is like. I%26#39;m guessing that it%26#39;s your typical 2-star tourist hotel. I wouldn%26#39;t worry too much though about it as in that area the basic standard of most hotels is pretty good.

2. It isn%26#39;t anywhere close to the Parc no, but that really isn%26#39;t a huge problem as the transport systel is pretty good. Take the Metro line 4 at the Gare de l%26#39;est, direction Porte de Orleans for about 8 stops and switch onto line 10 direction Boulonge at Odeon and get off at %26quot;Porte d%26#39;Auteuil%26quot;. It%26#39;ll cost you about £1.50 return and takes about 40 minutes to get there.

3. To be honest there won%26#39;t be a load of bars exactly where your hotel is but again that isn%26#39;t really a problem as you can take line 2 for about 10 minutes and haed to the Pigalle part of town or line 4 for 10 minutes and be in the center of the city.

4. No there aren%26#39;t a load of rugby bars near the hotel but not to worry because there arn%26#39;t a lot of rugby bars in Paris !

Off-hand I couldn%26#39;t name more than 4 rugby bars in the entire city. Footballl and rugby aren%26#39;t supported in Paris to the same extent that they are supported in London for example (IMHO). You can get to see Stade Francais playing from £3 for a home game but the 5,000-seater stadium isn%26#39;t always full. The game against sale will almost certainly attract the 45,000 people to fill the stadium where the match is being held but only a small fraction will be off drinking later in the evening.

That%26#39;s not to say that there aren%26#39;t places but to be honest if you%26#39;re looking for English rugby fans than you%26#39;ll find them in the Englsih bars (search the forum for english/irish bars to get a list).
