Hi:
We are parents of two adult children coming to Paris for Christmas.
Any suggestions for a restaurant for Christmas Day. We thought we might take a cruise, should we do dinner on board. It is our first time to paris and we are very excited.

Hello fellow Canadains!!
Thsi forum is very helpful, be sure to read lots of posts, go back a couple of pages at least. I recieved tons of excellant advise on this board, and I had been to Paris before ( 5 x) but still there is so much knowledge out here, and the locals, local experts and others are very helpful.
I personally feel you may encounter a slight problem with deciding to book anything so late.
Most everyone will agree that although the evening cruises are very nice( seeing all the lit up monuments from the boat is fabulous) that the food is only so so. But, if you find all the restaurants are booked up , then anything is better then just wandering around trying to find a place for Christmas dinner.
Look in the search box here , type in %26quot;good restaurants%26quot; and %26quot;dining%26quot; and see what comes up, surely pages and pages of old posts to help you.. Then get on the oh phone and/or email for reservations immediatly. OOPS, not immediatly, come onling, post your choices narrowed down to three or four places, name them and get our experts to help with best recommendation. Then book and go, good luck!
