location relative to antibes

Are juan-les-pins and antibes the same place? some web sites say the are and others say otherwise. if they arent could you tell me how far away from each other they are? I%26#39;ll be in Antibes for an extended period of time this summer this has been confusing me a lot during all of my research. thanks!

It is confusing. Juan les Pins and Cap d%26#39;Antibes (resorts) belong to Antibes but are teeny places in their own right as well. Depending on traffic, it%26#39;s a 10 minute drive.

Antibes lies at the western end of Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels) which goes up to Nice.

Juan les Pin is nearer, is in the other direction, nearer to Cannes, and lies of the Golfe Juan.

How can I follow an introduction like that!

The walk from Juan les Pins to Antibes is a real pleasure - some of the most fabulous villas on the way around the coastal stretch full of tiny bays, and if you can find your way down to Eden Roc and Chateau de la Croe on the southernmost tip of Cap d%26#39;Antibes, after a dodgy bit of moonscape, there is a %26quot;sentier litoral%26quot; - coastal footpath - all the way to Antibes. Two hours if youre reasonably fit.

Or jump on the train and its five minutes and miss it all.
