The reason I mentioned a car is becaise many places woth seeing are not easy or even impossible to reach by train and/or bus. In the genereal area all these places will be difficult to get to without a car or some kind of organized tour — Aigues-Mortes and the Camargue, the Pont du Gard, St. Rémy. Les Baux, all the Lubéron villages, the Abbey of Sénanque, etc., etc.

Well,my information was inncorect it seems..I though St.Remy was somewhat near Arles and bus service was available.... I only have 5 days in that area and would like to just hang in one place for a couple of days..Any info on Collioure ?? It%26#39;s kinda important to know time require for travel to some places so I know how to book hotels. You have any favorites along the coast from Nice West,,??

and I definatly not doing the car thing this time.Perhaps when I have a travelling buddy, for sure....Loretta
