family hotel with charm

After a fantastic trip to paris last summer, we have decided to go back this easter, for a 3 night break. We stopped at the novotel gare de lyon last time, which was excellent with big clean rooms, and good transport links to all areas .My problem is this time, we are looking for a hotel with a bit of parisien charm, not that hotel chain feel .We would be needing a room that accomadate 4 (2adults 2 children)approx 200 euros per night,if anyone has any ideas this would be most helpful.

bit of a broken record, but I consistantly recommend the Hotel Lindbergh. It is walking distance to many of the many attractions, close to some very %26quot;neighborhood%26quot; areas, has an extremely friendly staff and clean, spacious quads.

Hotels don%26#39;t oftentimes offer quad rooms and it%26#39;s best with four people to rent an apartment. However, since you are only going to be in Paris for three nights then a hotel may be better. However, I have read in the past that it is possible to rent apartments for less than a week (usually that is the minimum length of stay). Sorry, I don%26#39;t recall which apartment rental sites offer short stays though.

There is a hotel that I know of that offers quad rooms in your rate range. It%26#39;s near St. Sulpice and the Luxembourg Gardens in the St. Germain des Pres neighborhood (6th district): Hotel Michelet Odeon

i will check out these hotels now

vacationinparis.com that offers apt rentals for 3 nights, however, it should be noted that there is a $75 cleaning fee added to stays less than one week.

Here%26#39;s a link to Hotel Collège de France, close to Métro Cluny-Sorbonne ( one block from the St-Germain Bld/St-Michel Bld. corner).

We haven%26#39;t been there yet but have reservations for next September. We opted for that one on the basis of having a family hotel, independently owned, close to where we usually hang out while in Paris AND cheap (97 euro for a double). We spoke with them over the phone and they are very nice people.

Maybe that could be a choice for you.

The Hotel Jardin de l%26#39;Odéon looks nice too.
