HELP - Eurorail Info Needed!

Hi - I am traveling from London to Paris and back on Dec 28 and returning on the 31. I am so frustrated finding the right site to purchase and reserve my tickets - some site are pretty expensive. Can someone direct me to the best place to purchase tickets and what I can expect to pay for the type of seat I purchase? Any help would be great - thanks!

There really are only a couple of internet sites where you may find the best available Eurostar fares---the direct EUROSTAR site and the SNCF--French National Railways site (SNCF manages the Eurostar and Thalys reservations and ticketing systems). Occasionally, a site like RailEurope may get a special promotion...but it%26#39;s not often. There really aren%26#39;t any secret passwords or handshakes.

(ya%26#39; have to be careful when entering the main www.eurostar.com web site for the first time. If you list %26#39;..United States..%26#39; as your country and %26#39;..English..%26#39; as your prefered language, the site sets up a %26#39;..cookie..%26#39; within your system that automatically re-directs your computer to the RailEurope internet site....which technically is the exclusive US agent for Eurail member railways...that can be aggravating to get around.

In your case, for travel over the Christmas / New Year holiday period. most of the lowest fare categories may already be sold-out. A quick check for your travel dates is showing an approx r.t. fare of 200€ which ain%26#39;t exactly a great fare....but not as terrible as Full fare
