hotels in Paris

Can someone recommend a good parisian hotel in the Marais or Left bank area for two people? Mid price range and within walking distance of tourist attractions and metro to CdeG airport.Needs to have lots of character and reasonable sized rooms and a good shower!

There are as many wonderful hotels as there are guests.

I suggest you start searching (under %26quot;Paris Hotels%26quot; in the left column on this page) for hotels in Marais, Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain-des-Près. Type your price range and start reading guest reviews. Trust me - it%26#39;s the only way.

Try Henri IV Rive Gauche, on the left bank across the rver from Notre Dame.. Book a triple if you want a good size room

Thank you both for your suggestions.I have spent days researching hotels on several sites which is why I fiinally posted a query here.

I will look at the Rive Gauche suggestion and thanks again.
