Hotel views

Does anyone know of an afforable hotel in Paris with a great view?

I%26#39;ve just booked with the Hotel Roma Sacre Coeur specifically for the view and have now been told that i can only have a room with a view of the street unless we pay a massive extra fee. So am thinking of cancelling my reservation and booking somewhere different as it%26#39;s my boyfriend%26#39;s 40th birthday and i just wanted to stay somewhere a bit special.

Any ideas?

WHAT is affordable?? You should tell us your budget, it is impossible for people to help you unless you tell us your limit.

One persons idea of budget is definately not anothers.

A room with an incredible view that I considered affordable was the Hotel Brighton. Look it up on the reviews on this site for photos.

You can book an Eiffel-view room at Hotel Duquesne Eiffel

or Hotel les Jardins d%26#39;Eiffel

Well, i suppose %26#39;affordable%26#39; would be anything under 150 euros per night, but preferably as cheap as possible.

But thank you both anyway for your suggestions, they did look lovely.

Hotel Regyn%26#39;s Montmartre in lovely Place des Abbesses should have a fantastic view from the top floor rooms -and they are within your budget

Reviews are a little mixed - but no complaints about cleanliness and view from the rooms:

Timhotel Montmartre, which is in the even lovlier and superromantic, villagelike square: Place Emile Goudeau, also offers top floor rooms with %26quot;a killer view%26quot; - and they get better guest reviews:

I agree with Joan on this one, our room was large and lovely, beautiful bathroom with tub and shower; it overlooked the Jardin Tuileries and the Eifel Tower which was mesmerizing when it twinkled at night, we had a twin for 175euros back in October.

Sorry, I mean I agree with Joan about the Hotel Brighton
